Day 2 - Archie Aran, saving the best till last.

So two days to go, tomorrow the final countdown begins. Today however we have, in my personal opinion saved the best till last. Introducing our Archie Aran base, and 50% Buefaced Leicester 50% Masham aran weight yarn that is sourced, produced and spun completely in the UK. It is soft, it is supple, it has a gorgeous depth and beautiful sheen when dyed. I love this yarn and could wax lyrical about it all day! We have 3 colourways being listed on Wednesday (with a few more waitingin the wings) so here they are:

Turqouise, purple and green UK aran yarn

Oil Slick  - When oil, air and water meet the shimmering colours thrown up are like a magical haze of blues, greens and purples. Recreated in varying shades here, this yarn is bright and colourful with a depth to the colours due to the mix of fibres.

Navy, dark purple and dark green aran weight UK Yarn

Lucidity  - Like travelling through a dream world, floating through a star filled sky. I was inspired by the artwork of a small game by Lucasarts called Lucidity. There are dark purple and navy tones here, with splashes of forest green and an almost silvery overtone. More muted and subtle than other colourways but no less beautiful.

Blue, purple, green, yellow and pink yarn - Autmun like colours.

Autumns Bounty - A perfect colourway for this time of year, with rich warm earthy tones. Yellows intermingle with blues, purples, pinks and green - a bounty of colours bursting with life. Like the bounty of the harvest, before the onset of winter.

Don't forget there is only one more day left to enter our big give-away - all you need to do is join our newsletter, and you could win £118 worth of yarn!
