If I want exposure I'll get my tits out: On the Mersey the TitsOutCollective!

So on the eve of the launch of the Tits out collective, I thought I’d pop a blog post up explaining who my chosen charity is, as well as why I decided to take part. First off, when I first saw the Countess shout out for collaborators – I knew immediately I wanted to be involved. This type of thing is what I want in my community – positivity and collaboration. Anyone who has talked to me about my business or the fibre industry knows that I am a big subscriber to the notion that we are more powerful when...

Wool Week - 10th October until 16th October - Events!

This year we have lots of exciting things planned for Wool Week which runs from 10th October - 16th October, if you live in the Merseyside and West Lancashire area it is even more exciting! Firstly we are really excited to announce that for Wool week we will be the featured yarn/dyer at the Good Wool Shop in Formby! Its a rainbow of colour but the deep blues and greens give it a sophisticated edge. It makes me think of flowers bursting out in colour each spring. The base is our Poppy Roving base, a 100% Bluefaced Leicester British wool, spun in a single ply. It is delightfully soft...

Introducing Fenella! Our knitted summer stole

Today is the launch of our latest knitting pattern: Fenella This summer stole is a perfect summer knitting project. A simple lace and garter stitch repeat makes it a great pattern for beginners looking to challenge themselves and learn new techniques. But fret not! If you're an advanced knitter this is still enjoyable enough to be a quick yet satisfying project.  My stole (although this is my mum modelling!) was knit using our Fenella colour way on our Poppy Sock base, but any of our Poppy sock colour ways would be an excellent choice for this stole - and bonus,...
