How terrible has the British weather been lately? So to cheer everyone up I have chosen our brightest, most fluorescent colour way to be yarn of the month: Klaxon! Klaxon was inspired by the band of the same name that I saw live many moons ago (the NME new wave tour if I remember correctly, but that whole phase of my life may be slightly tinged in Jagermeister and a little hazy!) Yarn of the Month! - June 2016 - In Bloom

Today sees the launch of our Yarn of the Month. Yarn of the month yarns aim to showcase and highlight one of our brilliant bases or colour ways. For June 2016 that yarn is: In Bloom on Poppy Roving   This colour way came out of experimenting with a new dyeing techniques. Its a rainbow of colour but the deep blues and greens give it a sophisticated edge. It makes me think of flowers bursting out in colour each spring. The base is our Poppy Roving base, a 100% Bluefaced Leicester British wool, spun in a single ply. It is delightfully soft...
