Workshops!

Well if you met me during the Autumn Markets, we may have chatted about my hope to launch workshops in the New Year. I've gotten my head together with the talented Tracey at Florence and Fox - and we have workshops ready and available for bookings!

Bookings are being taken via Florence and Fox - links at the bottom of descriptions.

Knit a chunky cowl - 18th March

If you want to learn to knit - don't learn with scratchy acrylic - dive in with Hand Dyed British wool - soft and enjoyable!

Ever wanted to learn to knit? Or know someone who wants to learn? Perhaps you can knit but you've never known what to do with a chunky yarn? Well join me at Florence and Fox and together we will tackle the basics and get those needles flying to create a luxurious chunky cowl.

Everyone will get a 100g of Poppy Twist yarn and a pair of knitting needles, as well as a straight forward and clear pattern (that has been professionally checked and edited).

Weave a wall hanging - 25th March

Dive into my stash of luxury hand dyed yarns, ribbon, sari silk and beads and create a beautiful wall hanging! I'll show you how to warp your loom and a variety of stitches. Once you're ready to finish I'll show you how to remove the weave from the loom and hang it.

Workshops include a Weaving loom kit that you can take with you - and all the materials to create a wall hanging on the day.

Acid dyeing yarn workshop - 22nd April

Learn about how I dye yarn, and have a go yourself! Using 100% British wool, we will talk through colour choices, good dye practices, and three applications techniques.
You will then get to create you're very own colourway and steam set it, before taking it home to dry.

Workshops include everything you need to dye your own skein of yarn - and a choice of 4ply/DK/Chunky 100% British Bluefaced Leciester wool.
